Astavalence is led by Dr Hariharan Narendran, a medical doctor and educator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, medical education, curriculum development, and responsible implementation.


His current higher education role includes module leadership in pathophysiology and diagnostics, with direct experience of curriculum development and the integration of AI learning objectives into teaching.


His wider background includes research across Cambridge and the London School of Economics. He is also currently a doctoral researcher at Oxford and has contributed to invited speaking in Oxford and Cambridge settings.
